National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a uniformed group that nurtures our cadets to be extraordinary youth leaders through a wide spectrum of activities. In Beatty Secondary School, our NCC unit places great emphasis on inculcating the following NCC core values in our cadets:

Every Friday 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Every Tuesday 3:30pm – 6:00pm (for cadets involved in the Precision Drills Squad (PDS) and Freestyle Exhibition Drills (FSD) training)

Achievements
- Unit Recognition Award – consecutive Distinction Awards since 2012
- Outstanding Cadet Award (awarded by Headquarters NCC) – MSG Herman Cho
- Participated in the annual FSD Competition
- Attained national championship at the PDS Competition 2019
- Attained championship at the NCC Fitness Challenge 2019
Highlights
- Participated in the National Day Parade Marching Contingent
- Participated in the International Cadet Exchange Programme – SSG Alden Tan was part of the NCC contingent representing Singapore which went to USA
- Participated in the Mount Ophir Climbing Expedition – SSG Ivan Chew and SSG Tan Xuanhao were part of the NCC contingent representing Singapore which successfully scaled Mount Ophir
- Embarked on the unit’s first ever overseas trip to Gopeng, Malaysia
- Participated in the Senior Specialist Leaders Course
- Participated in the 1-Star Kayaking Certification Course
- Organised the annual NCC Camp and NCC Day Commemoration
